THEY ALL SAID IT COULDN'T BE DONE

Was the last true innovation in the AEC industry more than eighty years ago, during the great depression?

The Empire State Building was the first construction project to use line of balance scheduling and was the first ever IPD project. A record breaking four and a half stories per week were built in 1930 to 1931. Construction was completed two weeks ahead of schedule.

Today, companies integrate technological advancements like robotics, wearables, and 3D printing to advance innovation. What’s next?
